The trail begins beside a well-preserved medieval hilltop castle and descends along its southern slope, opening onto sweeping views over the bay below. The path continues through the fishing harbour toward the sea, passing a historic coastal fortress that once guarded the bay, before joining a coastal dirt track that follows the shoreline and climbs back up toward the castle, with panoramic views unfolding along the ascent. Terrain includes sustained sections of ascent and descent and some uneven ground — guests must be in good physical health.
