Saturday, Dec 7th Come get to know the small rustic villages of the Oeste region. Enjoy a walk through bucolic landscapes of rolling vineyards that stretch as far eye can see. Scenic views of the Serra de Montejunto in the background accompany us along the way as we pass by orchards, agricultural fields and stop in between to explore scattered villages that seem to have fallen asleep in time. At the end of the walk we will stop to visit a nearby Christmas market on our way back to Lisbon.
Distance/Duration: 17km/5hrs
Moderate Level 2 – Accessible to those in good physical health and who are used to walking. On the route we may encounter some steeper differences in level and areas where the ground may be more difficult and uneven.
Must Take – 1.5L Water, Hat, Sunscreen, Lunch, Shoes with good grip for hiking, Clothing appropriate for the weather conditions.
